I only gave a 2 star because as a previous rating reflected was M&T policy and not consumer friendly. The abrupt way in the tone which the policy was explained to me by the branch manager condescending and embarrassing. However she did fax 1 sheet of paper which was non-bank related for me this one time. And that that 1 piece of paper costs money and if she did it for 1 person she would have to do it for all. This is a very small community and I do not get the feeling that the big name M&T bank reflects the small close knit type of atmosphere and customer friendly attitude in which it should have. My Grandfather was a bank president for many years in a small town and i know how he treated customers was not like this. He would actually go into the fields where the farmers were working and do business. Hence this is for the poor rating. Hope this helps someone.
Tellers are nice but their policies are only good for the bank and their hours are not convenient.
